Reliance Jio AirFiber: Availability, Price & Plan
What if you can you your WIFI connection wireless and place it wherever you want? Yes, It's now possible with Jio Airfiber. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Reliance launched a new service called Jio Airfiber.
As a starting phase, it is available in 8 cities Ahmedabad, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm said:
"With JioAirFiber, we are expanding our addressable market to rapidly cover every home in our country with similar quality of service. JioAirFiber will enable millions of homes with world-class digital entertainment, smart home services and broadband, through its solutions across education, health, surveillance and smart home,"
What is Jio AirFiber?
You guys were familiar with Jio dongles which allow you to use data anywhere. Jio Airfiber is similar to these wireless dongles, but it has additional extended service such as 5G broadband speed.
This latest Airfiber also allows a user to choose plans as per their requirements with speeds up to 1Gbps. Plans include speeds of 30/100/150/300/500 and 1Gbps.
However, Jio mentioned on its website that JioAirfiber can only used by plugging it and turning it on. Users will be able to use their personal portable ultra high-speed broadband internet via true 5G Wi-Fi hotspots in their houses, offices, or workplaces.
Jio AirFiber Plans
Users can use this service of Jio Airfiber with a minimum charge of INR 399+GST and a maximum charge of INR 1999+GST.
While Jio AirfiberMax can be used with a minimum charge of INR 1499+GST and a maximum charge of INR 3999+GST.
As per the officials, it stated that devices like WiFi router for coverage in your home or workplace premises, Voice-active remote, and 4k Smart Set Top Box will be provided at no additional cost.
